🧶 Tuesday Knitting &Crochet Group
Join our warm and welcoming Tuesday Knitting Group, now running alongside our friendly Crochet Group, both kindly facilitated by Vicki. Whether you're picking up needles or a hook for the first time, or you're already an experienced maker, there's a place for you here!
These sessions are a great opportunity to:
- Learn new knitting or crochet techniques
- Share ideas, patterns, and inspiration
- Work on your own projects or join in community projects for charity in a relaxed and social setting
- Enjoy a cuppa and connect with a lovely community
Vicki will guide beginners through the basics—whether you're learning to knit or crochet—helping you build confidence and skills from the ground up. Many of our current members started as beginners and are now proudly finishing their own handmade creations. You can too!
🧵 What to Bring:
Beginners:
- For knitting: bring 8-ply yarn (light, plain colour) and a pair of 4mm knitting needles
- For crochet: bring a 3.5mm or 4mm hook and 8-ply yarn (light, plain colour)
- We do have some wool supplies and plenty of knitting needles
Experienced Makers:
- Bring your current project, yarn, and tools
💰 Fees:
- $3.50 per session (payable by the term)
- $5 casual attendance
📝 Membership &Registration:
- A $15 annual membership is required, which helps support the running of the House.
- Bookings are essential – no walk-ins, as places are limited.
